A Year of Gratitude

My word for 2024 was “growth”. Because there was a lot of goals I wanted to hit in 2024. And yes, there was certainly many challenges. But there’s also so much I’m grateful for and so many things Torianna Brooke Portraiture accomplished.

This year I got married, worked with some of the sweetest couples, traveled to Europe, bought our first home, went to New England, and Torianna Brooke Portraiture has grew 2 times the amount from 2023. In 2024, countless lessons were learned. Many new relationships were established, relationships nurtured, and a lot grew. And for that, I’m incredibly grateful.

On that note, here are some of the core 2024 highlights that I’m reflecting on with eternal gratitude…

2024 Highlights: Highlands NC Bachelorette

I’m one of those brides that just wanted a chill, cozy bachelorette. I had the pleasure of relaxing at the incredible Old Edwards Inn, and let me tell you, it was an absolute dream! We decided to do some wine tasting. Personally, I’m more of a sweet white wine kind of girl. I can’t do that dry stuff. And can we talk about the gorgeous spa facilities?! Then, of course, we had to visit the antique shops & grab coffee because I do have an addiction! After a day of rest and rejuvenation, we were ready for a night out on the town. I’m a pretty chill girl so we decided to get drinks at the Hummingbird Lounge & listen to some Jazz music provided by the pianist. Overall, it was an unforgettable weekend & I’m so grateful to have people who took the time to plan this for me. The Highlands have been on my bucket list for a while and I’m so glad we were able to make in there with all the snow!

2024 Highlights: Our Wedding

Our wedding day was simply magical, and I am grateful to have shared that special moment with our loved ones. Bryce & I got married on February 24th, 2024 in Charleston. We got married at my dream wedding venue, The Governor Thomas Bennett House in Charleston, SC. It was the perfect European-inspired venue for our wedding. 2024 Highlights: European Honeymoon

Bryce & I were so lucky to be able to have a 2 week honeymoon in Europe. We covered Rome, Tuscany, Venice, Paris, & Switzerland. Of course we had some travel troubles on the way but we know they will be hilarious stories to tell our kids and grandkids one day. Our first time in Europe will always be so special and I’m so glad we could make our dream come true. Another bucket list item checked off the list!
