Downtown Charleston Engagement Session

Downtown Charleston is one of my favorite places for engagement sessions! I just had the most incredible photo shoot with Lauren and Paul in Charleston! It was such a fabulous day, and let me tell you, their engagement session was the epitome of modern chic. You know how much I love all things chic, and this session really hit the mark. As a bonus, they had chosen to incorporate Paul’s cherished 2000s Porsche into their engagement session. It was a match made in heaven!

So, let me just gush about Lauren and Paul for a second. They are such a fantastic couple, overflowing with joy and love. And their style? Off the charts! Lauren had two dresses. A stunning white dress from Meshki that flowed in the breeze, and she looked like a total goddess. The second, a mini dress from Revolve with long white gloves. Paul rocked a dapper black suit that matched perfectly with Lauren’s white dresses. They looked incredible & did an amazing job at their engagement session!

Charleston Engagement Session Locations

I loved strolling with Lauren and Paul through the cobbled streets of Charleston. We started our day at Waterfront Park, which has the most beautiful line of trees & ironed gates. However, the park was so busy this day so we spent just a little time there. I’m so glad we did though because we got some beautiful walking images here!

Next, we ventured into the French Quarter, where narrow alleyways are lined with gorgeous historic buildings. There was the most beautiful soft golden light here some of my favorite images from the session were at this location!

You know how much I love Charleston – the historic architecture, the vibrant colors, the charming streets – and Tradd Street is like the epitome of all that. It’s lined with these darling blue houses that just scream Southern Charm, and it provided the perfect backdrop for this engagement session. Seriously, every corner we turned offered a new and picturesque spot.

Lastly, made our way to the historic St. Michael’s Alley & Harborside East. St Michael’s Alley is known for these tall Cypress Trees which automatically give a European Vibe. This was the first place I thought of to host Lauren & Paul’s photos with Paul’s beloved Porsche. The soft afternoon light filtered through the trees. Paul started to come up with poses for them to do with the Porsche which I thought was adorable! I’m always so thrilled when the guy is up for anything during a photo session! We ended at Harborside East to get images of the Ravenel Bridge for Lauren & Paul. This was a must-have photo for them!
