There’s just something about a spring wedding at Inola Blue Ridge and its North Georgia mountains that hits differently. Especially when it’s filled with emotion, pastel florals, and the sweetest couple like Caroline & Tim. Their Inola Blue Ridge wedding was one of those days that reminded me why I love what I do. From heartfelt first looks to joyful tears and effortless beauty, this one was unforgettable.

Caroline & Tim brought their people together just outside of Atlanta, Georgia, surrounded by nature, historic architecture, and soft pink and blue details that made everything feel fresh, romantic, and personal. Inola Blue Ridge has this quiet, old-world charm to it. It’s set the perfect tone for a day full of meaningful moments.

First Looks & Teary Eyes

One of my favorite parts of the day? Caroline’s first look with her dad. The kind of moment that says a thousand words without anyone needing to say anything at all. Capturing those reactions is one of the things I love most about the photojournalistic side of my work. Those in-between, blink-and-you’ll-miss-it emotions that truly tell the story.

And then there was Tim. As Caroline walked down the aisle, he was completely overwhelmed. He was standing there surrounded by all the people who love and support them. Waiting for the woman he’s about to marry. It was powerful, honest, and completely captivating.

Pastels, Portraits & Personality

The entire day was wrapped in blue and pink pastels—florals, bridesmaids’ dresses, stationery, you name it. Everything felt soft, elevated, and so full of joy. My refined approach to posing meant we got those Vanity Fair-worthy portraits (without pulling anyone away for too long), while also allowing for spontaneous, candid storytelling throughout the day.

We wandered the beautiful village streets of Inola, took in the gardens, and soaked up that golden spring light. Caroline & Tim didn’t want their photos to feel stiff or staged, and that’s exactly why we worked so well together. We created something elegant and real—images that feel like them and bring them right back to every laugh, tear, and in-between breath of the day.

Inola’s tucked-away setting and historic village vibe gave Caroline & Tim space to slow down and actually enjoy every part of their day.
