High school sweethearts, Caitlyn and Jon, had the most romantic South Carolina wedding day right outside of Charleston! Their wedding took place at the waterfront Dunes West Golf and River Club in Mount Pleasant, South Carolina. The venue was a stunning backdrop, with its sprawling green golf course and picturesque river views, providing the perfect setting for a summertime wedding.

Caitlyn chose pastel hues for her bridesmaids’ dresses and delicate floral arrangements that adorned the ceremony space. The soft colors of the summer season were a reflection of the fresh beginning that Caitlyn and Jon were embarking on as they said “I do.”

Caitlyn had her sweet first looks with her dad, brothers, & Jon in front of the lush stone walls. We documented their bridal party & wedding portraits on the veranda, the courtyard, & by the waterfront.

One of the most memorable moments from the shoot was when Caitlyn and Jon shared their private vows during their first look. They both had the sweetest words to say to each other! Their wedding ceremony took place under the large oak tree. The Spanish moss hung from the trees above, cascading down, and creating such a dreamy location to get married. After Caitlyn and Jon said “I Do”, their reception kicked off inside with their first dance & a private dinner.
