Courtney & Josh’s intimate elopement at Forsyth Park in Savannah, Georgia, was nothing short of magical—and even more meaningful to photograph because Courtney is such a dear friend of mine. Getting to document their day was both an honor and a joy, and it’s one I’ll never forget.
The ceremony took place beneath the dreamy canopy of moss-draped oaks in Forsyth Park, with the most dreamy light. It was simple, sweet, and so full of love. Surrounded by their closest family and friends, Courtney and Josh exchanged vows that felt deeply personal—because they were. Every look, every laugh, every tear felt more special with the people who know them best standing by their side. You could feel how happy and grounded their love is, and it was such a gift to witness it all unfold.
After they said “I do,” we wandered through the park and made our way to Monterey Square for portraits. The golden light filtered through the trees just right, and the historic charm of Savannah gave every photo that timeless, romantic feel. Courtney looked stunning in her fitted bridal gown, featuring a low back.
There’s something incredibly beautiful about choosing an elopement—keeping things small, intentional, and centered on what matters most. For Courtney and Josh, that meant a meaningful ceremony, the people who love them, and a walk through the city where they started this new chapter together.
Courtney, I’m so happy for you and Josh. Thank you for letting me be part of such a special day—it meant the world.

If you’re planning a wedding, I’d be honored to capture every moment. Let’s connect to discuss how we can make your special day unforgettable.
