Caitlyn and Jon’s Charleston engagement photos might be some of my all-time favorites!! Their story began over six years ago when they met in high school. That’s right, Caitlyn & Jon are high school sweethearts! They just got engaged last year while traveling to Ireland, what a dream! They are beyond excited to finally tie the knot after six years together, with their family and friends visiting Charleston from Virginia! 

Charleston Engagement Photos

I was so excited when we scheduled their Charleston engagement portraits! There’s something so beautiful about this historic city and photographing a love story like Caitlyn and Jon’s just made it feel even more sweet. We started their session at Hibernian Hall, Chalmers Street, & Washington Square. Right from the start, they were very comfortable with the camera & were so gentle with each other.

They decided to do two outfits for their session. The first is more chic & urban to match Jon’s vibe. The second is more preppy to match Caitlyn’s style. Charleston also has a ton of beautiful buildings that we decided to use for their session, before a quick walk through one of my favorite alleys. I can’t get over how much variety one little city can provide! Caitlyn and Jon were such a joy to work with, too. They were naturals and it’s so clear to see how much they truly love each other. I can’t wait to celebrate them in the summer at their Dunes West Golf and River Club wedding!
