There’s something about Charleston that feels like it was made for love stories. Cassi & Justin’s Modern Charleston engagement session around the cobblestone streets and timeless architecture of the Holy City was no exception. Wandering through historic Charleston with them felt like stepping into a Southern romance novel. It was full of charm, elegance, and effortless connection.

We started their session at the ever-charming St. Michael’s Alley. Where ivy-lined walls and quiet, tucked-away corners gave us the perfect mix of intimacy and history. The soft golden light filtering through the alleyway made everything glow. Especially the way Cassi and Justin looked at each other. You could feel how at ease they are together—how their laughter comes easily and their love runs deep.

From there, we strolled over to Church Street, one of Charleston’s most iconic and picturesque spots. With pastel homes, weathered shutters, and blooming window boxes as our backdrop, Cassi & Justin slipped into that sweet rhythm of simply being together. Every photo felt effortless and genuine, like little snapshots of their real, everyday love.

Charleston has this quiet way of wrapping moments in beauty, and this session was the perfect example of that. Between the historic streets, Cassi’s joyful smile, and Justin’s calm, loving presence—it all came together in such a heartfelt way.
