As I sit down to reflect on 2025, I’m overwhelmed in the best way. This year was filled with so many moments that reminded me why I fell in love with this work in the first place. The quiet, emotional exchanges; joyful celebrations; stunning portraits; and couples who trusted me with some of the most important days of their lives.

From intimate engagements wandering through historic streets to full wedding days surrounded by family, friends, and years of love, 2025 was truly one for the books. It was a year of beautiful weddings, kindhearted couples, unforgettable moments, and deep gratitude for the work I get to do.

A Year of Meaningful Weddings & Engagements

This year took me across some of my favorite places. From the charm of Charleston and Savannah to the mountains of North Georgia and beyond. Each wedding and engagement session carried its own story, its own energy, and its own rhythm.

I photographed garden weddings filled with pastel florals, classic black-tie celebrations under string lights, emotional chapel ceremonies, mountaintop receptions, sunrise engagement sessions, and slow afternoons spent strolling through historic neighborhoods. Whether it was a quiet elopement or a full wedding day surrounded by loved ones, each celebration reminded me that no two stories are ever the same and that’s what makes this work so special.

The Couples Who Made This Year What It Was

More than anything, 2025 was defined by the people. The couples I worked with this year were kind, thoughtful, joyful, and fully present. They cared deeply about their relationships, their families, and the way their day felt.

I watched dads tear up during first looks, couples hold hands just a little tighter after being married, and friends lift newlyweds into the air during packed dance floors. I documented laughter that couldn’t be staged, tears that came without warning, and lovely couples as if they were on a magazine spread.

The trust my couples placed in me to capture their day with care, intention, and honesty never goes unnoticed.

Storytelling Over Perfection

One of the biggest themes of 2025 was choosing presence over perfection. Many of my couples embraced timelines that allowed space to breathe, moved their portraits into soft evening light, or skipped traditions that didn’t feel true to them.

These choices led to galleries filled with real emotion and imagery that feels timeless rather than trendy. This year reaffirmed my belief in a refined approach that blends editorial artistry with photojournalistic storytelling. Images that feel elevated yet deeply genuine, graceful and completely alive.

Growth Behind the Scenes

While so much of what I share happens on wedding days, 2025 was also a year of quiet growth behind the scenes. Refining my workflow, deepening my creative vision, and continuing to shape a brand that reflects not just what I photograph but how I want couples to feel when they look back on their images years from now.

Each blog post, gallery delivery, and conversation with a couple helped shape what this business is becoming. And I’m so proud of the direction it’s heading.

Grateful Beyond Words

This work is not something I take lightly. Being invited into such meaningful moments is a privilege, and I’m constantly reminded how lucky I am to do this.
