A Charleston Engagement | Amelia & Joseph
The cobblestone streets of Charleston are always charming. So when Amelia & Joseph asked for Oak Trees & history for their engagement photos, I gave an easy yes. We decided on an evening Charleston Engagement Session since they were driving in from North Carolina. We decided to meet at Mills House and start the session there. It was the perfect beginning to what would soon be a stormy evening!
We enjoyed a beautiful overcast afternoon on Chalmers Street, wandering the cobblestone path and pausing to capture moments in front of the historic buildings. After only a short period of time, it looked like we would have some rain. It started to downpour! We waited for a little while but decided to reschedule the second half of their session.
The second half of their engagement was in Aiken, SC where they have a beautiful street with glorious oak trees. This was one of the main backdrops Amelia wanted and I searched high and low. I hope you enjoy this Historic Charleston Engagement as much as I do!
Amelia and Joseph are two people who make others feel warm and comfortable. Their session is one that I consistently look back on with joy because I felt an instant friendship with them! Keep an eye out for their wedding in Tennessee!
